JOB TITLE-Long Term Substitute Teacher/In-School Suspension Facilitator (Junior High School)

FLSA-Full Time-10 months

 

REPORTS TO:  Principal

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a valid Arizona Substitute or Teacher Certificate
• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Enthusiasm for educating students grades K-12
• Organizational and communication skills
• Previous educational experience required 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom environment
• Leading and facilitating activities for students
• Modeling positive and appropriate classroom behavior
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
• Supporting and assisting fellow staff and leadership
• Maintaining a high level of energy throughout the work day
• Flexibility for daily substitute assignments
• Facilitating In-School Suspension
• Other duties as assigned
