The Graphic Design Teacher will develop and implement engaging, standards-based curriculum focused on graphic design principles, digital media production, and visual communication. The instructor will help students gain technical skills in industry-standard software and prepare for post-secondary education or careers in visual design fields. The role includes classroom management, instruction, and assessment within the framework of Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards and CTE program requirements.

Deliver instruction in graphic design, including elements of design, typography, layout, branding, digital illustration, and photography.

Teach use of industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

Develop lesson plans aligned with Arizona state standards and/or CTE program guidelines.

Integrate project-based learning to simulate real-world graphic design tasks.

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment.

Provide students with constructive feedback and support individualized learning.
